Each inspection and test must be documented with log entries, photographs and checklists. The value of photographs in documenting an inspection cannot be overstated. Many industry associations offer quality assurance guidance for building enclosure systems (ABAA, NCRA, NFRC and RCI). Some offer certification for those who provide enclosure consulting and quality assurance services (ABAA, NFRC and RCI). • Water vapor emission test for concrete slabs before installing flooring (ASTM F1869) or ASTM F2170). • TAB on exhaust airflows (ASHRAE). • Pressure test of water supply system (International Plumbing Code Section 312.5). • Testing the drainage and vent air of plumbing systems (International Plumbing Code Section 312.2, 312.3 and 312.4).
