MA 11.4 Ensure Proper Boiler Operation
Ensure that boiler-firing adjustments are working
properly so that soot is not dispelled out of the
atmospheric dampers into boiler rooms. Confirm
that boilers do not release black smoke through the
chimney for more than a very brief period.
MA 11.5 Ensure CO Detection and Warning
Equipment is Installed
Ensure CO detection and warning equipment is
installed and located according to NFPA 720 and any
applicable local or state requirements.
