WK2LIVE9A&B: Retrofit Air Sealing the Wood Frame House

Most of our air sealing work is covered up and buried. If we are spending the time and money sealing up air leaks, as professionals, we would want the air seal material to stick to and be flexible on the substrate for as long as possible. This session will cover many different choices for air sealing materials that provide long term and durable air sealing. We will be going over air seal strategies for walls, floors, attics and crawlspaces. Retrofit air sealing can be very challenging. Very often the biggest challenge is doing the best job with limited funds You, the attendees, are the experts in the air sealing trade. There will be some open time to hear your success and failure stories in your trade so we can make our next job better.
