Environmental Information Association Announces new EIA Foundation

September 27, 2022 Bob Krell

Chevy Chase, MD – The Environmental Information Association is proud to announce the establishment of the EIA Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable nonprofit supporting education and community service projects in the environmental health and safety field. The Environmental Information Association established its EIA Scholarship Fund in 2012 to support education among EIA Members and their immediate families. The scholarship program expanded to include conference attendance for government regulators as well as community service projects such as EIA Cares, our Covid supply relief program for nonprofit health facilities. As industry support grew for these education and charitable efforts, the logical next step was the establishment of the EIA Foundation. All contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible and serve our educational and community service mission.

We look forward to growing our service programs and expanding the Foundation’s role in the environmental health and safety industry.

The Environmental Information Association is a multidisciplinary association that collects, generates, and disseminates information concerning environmental and occupational health hazards in the built environment to property owners and operators, interested professionals, and the public. For information on membership or the activities and programs of EIA, please call the National Headquarters at 888-343-4324, or visit the EIA website, www.eia-usa.org.
